Auto Restart Protection

When the AC is switched OFF and ON in a short interval, the compressor starts working only after 3 minutes to prevent damage.

When you press iClean/Self Clean on the remote, the AC turns on the cleaning mode and creates more frosting, thereafter the accumulated dust participles on the evaporator fins get removed along with the frost water.

The sensors on your remote feel the temperature around them and report it to the AC to maintain the same temperature.
